“Bhart Shemar is a registered osteopath and an unregistered genius!”

    “THE OSTEOPATH”

“… Bhart Shemar is a detective whose mission is to discover what's gone wrong in your body - and fix it. There's an exhaustingly thorough consultation where he pieces together all the information (sleep patterns, daily routine, injuries), then he'll check your alignment to inspect the damage. Armed with the evidence, Shemar, who is also a naturopath, draws a picture of your physical state - and what he pinpoints is extraordinary. (Jaw ache? It may be because you need glasses and are craning to stare at your screen.) There's a massage, bone-clicking, some 'functional acupuncture'. The latter is odd: sizeable needles are inserted into trigger points, forcing muscles to let go. Expect involuntary twitching - but it'll feel so nice and loose when he's done.

Our verdict: You'll ache like you've been hit by a ten-ton truck - but what you learn makes it worth it!”

“…I feel exactly the same regarding Osteopath and needle-wielder Bhart Shemar, whom I now think of as “Jesus” after he immediately cured a dodgy knee of a couple of years’ standing. Apparently I am not the first to assign him this moniker. Again, I leave with innumerable lifestyle tips, but it is his messianic laying-on of hands that ensures I crave him on speed-dial. The poor chap can now consider himself stalked!”

  • THE MAIL | J. H. Journalist

“… with treatments to ease away any aches and pains and make sure I was fully relaxed before my head hit the pillow. This began with a visit to resident osteopath Bhart Shemar. Under his expert treatment, I soon began to feel all my long-held knots of tension disappear.”

  • INSIDER'S GUIDE TO SPAS | R. S. Journalist

“Mr. Shemar is the spa’s resident Osteopath, and he is spoken of in hushed, reverential tones. He is quick, efficient and is very to the point, repeating the mantra “Remember, we’re thinking of your body in a decade or so!” During our consultation he scrutinized every aspect of my stance, from my clenched jaw to rounded shoulders, leg length discrepancy and pronation. He then used neuromuscular techniques to improve my muscle alignment, medical acupuncture on trigger points in my upper back, some spinal manipulation that one would expect from a chiropractor, and a bit of neuromuscular massage. I was sweating afterwards, but it didn’t end there. Bhart sent me away with a to-do list that included speaking with my dentist about the grinding, getting better running shoes, and a regime of stretching.”

  • CONDÉ NAST TRAVELLER

“Osteopath Bhart Shemar is also outrageously good - a former A&E nurse, he's a master at dealing with dodgy backs and painful hips, be it with a delicious deep-tissue massage or the (excruciating) trigger-point release therapy with needles.”
